not as good as it can be produce and lunchmeat are pretty bad. I bought hard salami from here and it was dried up when I got home to eat it. We have several Berkots in the area and all of them are bad with this. Not sure why all these small towns continue to let them build here. Produce is often rotten. Bought some oranges went to eat them and they were moldy on the inside. I only go there now for milk, bread is usually old too. Not worth anything else. The owners must have big connections to be allowed to dominate the south... read more
still great! The store has just undergone a complete reconstruction. The new building is much more shopper friendly and updated, and the products are still just as good.
excellent meats The Berkots gives the feel of a local, small town super- market. the prices are very reasonable and the have a good quality of meat products. The produce is often lacking and the cleanliness of the store is sometimes in question. But over all this store is a good value.
