Best Place For You and your Pets! I love the berkeley humane society! Especially the veterinary hospital! The staff are all so nice there, and the veterinarians actually take time to talk to you and answer all your questions. Plus, they always call with my dog's results on labwork - and take time to answer more questions. And, they are affordable. BEBHS - anything but humane March 11th, 2008 - I arrive at the BEBHS at around 8 or 8:30am to drop my kitten, Puma, off for her spay appointment. I arrive to two women behind the counter, an older woman who look like she belongs and a younger woman who looks like a vet tech [VT]. The older woman seems cold and distant and makes me feel as if I'm lucky to be wasting her time. When I attempt to ask the younger woman something, she says she has no idea.
