BCSD does not care about families! What happened to drawing straight lines for zoning. 9 schools in 1 zone is crazy! People should be angry about how much money is being wasted!!

Foxbank Elementary has been doing an amazing job with this e-learning experience. Mrs. Shea has been hosting google meets and my son was able to join in today, and the smile on his face seeing his teacher over-joyed me. She allowed each child to have their own “talk time”... she is ensuring that her students are not only meeting the academic requirements, but also staying connected and really making this transition seamless. Thank you Mrs. Shea for making these kids feel sooo loved in a very stressful time!
The school district has been ahead of the game since the beginning of this virus. We have loved it since the first day but everything they’re doing for the students is amazing. Thank you so much!!
Our school district was prepared for e-learning. Our teachers started instruction as if we were still at school. Because of our districts preparations in the case of hurricanes that are frequent in our area, we were tasked to pilot an e-learning platform. Our teachers were ready, our students were prepared. We may have our disagreements like any family does but we are so proud of our district, our teachers, our, children and our parents! Berkeley County School District is a forward thinking district.
This school district has been on top of learning in spite of this worldwide crisis. They rolled out complete e-learning plans within 2 days of the state closing school. Our kids did not miss a beat!! Thank you
the response to the shut down has been phenomenal! In these adverse, confusing times, they have sprung into action. nutrition staff are out there cooking and feeding the kids daily. they immediately started tweaking the online learning curriculum for extended accommodation. fantastic response!
They also care for you it is a big county and do a terrific job with what they have to work with!!!
