Bering's I was there for the first time yesterday and no need to say that I left the store in shock. The people there are so weird and super rude. They make you feel like you don't belong there.I will not spend one penny in that store again. The worst customer service ever encounter in this era.

Bering's Fan I have shopped at Bering's for many yrs. I wouldn't go there to buy ordinary hardware items due to their prices but they simply cannot compete w/major chains financially. They send out coupons and will honor them automatically (no need to bring). In order to find good quality, unique items I would go nowhere else. Also, I have always found their sales people delightful and extremely helpful. One cannot get the same attention and especially the professional advice at a chain store.

Berings Home Ctr is not worth it. It's true. The people are so incredibly rude. Like ridiculously, horribly rude. I don't know if it has something to do with the fact that they are all geriatric and bitter, but my husband and I looked at each other in horror when we stopped in last weekend. The lady at the coffee counter acted as if I was asking her to kill her first-born child when I asked her to order a certain kind of coffee. For Christ's sake people. Get over yourselves!

A BAD EXPERIENCE I had always heard about Berings. My friend and I had a Girl's Saturday so we decided to go shopping. The store is remarkable, but I was so disappointed with the sales people. They were rude, almost arrogant. We live in the 1960 area and it was a drive getting over to this store, not to mention the gas we burned. I don't think I would ever visit this establishment again. It's ashame because it was like a one stop shopping experience. dms

Your one stop shop You can get anything here: from imported Australian licorice to basic dog treats to duplicate keys and every manner of keychain or latch. Bear in mind, they might not the cheapest place to go (the Australian licorice was too steep for my impulse purchase), but the selection is great and the staff is friendly and personable. I would go here any day over cheaper chain stores. Oh yeah, and they let me take my 35 lb dog in the dog treat section, so they have my undying loyalty. PROS: variety, unusual items, ev... read more

Overpriced Their selection is great, and the goods they have are top notch. However, your not going to get any deals here. Their prices are comensurate with their location and usual clients. You can do much better by frequenting a local chain hardware store or even a mom & pop shop.

Excellent Paper and Invitation selection I have used Berings many times now to find the perfect invitation or paper. I think they have a huge, ever changing selection on paper goods. The print work is good, but I have to say that they can be snooty at times. And I've noticed that they have gone up in printing pricing.

Great coffee This place has it all. One stop shopping. It's a hardware store that also has a coffee/fine chocolate dept as well as a fine china/decor dept. Also has a cute baby store. Often has 20% off coupons, if on mailing list.
