I have used Berger for 3 moves. The one in Chicago was great, packed me, moved me into storage here in Arizona. So I thought I sure I will use them to move into my apartment in the city. The communication was terrible with the office. Then while moving one of the elevators broke down and the guy (mover) managing the elevator was so HIGH, he didn't realize 3 of my boxes were on the elevator at the time. Do not move anything with this company! Did a cross country move a couple of months ago, and boxes are missing, probably because they had several moves in one truck, and items were delivered to the wrong destination. The claims department is not helpful at all, and will waste months of your time just to tell you there's nothing they can do.

Do NOT work here if you're a woman. This place has no problem keeping male employees who not only verbally, but physically, assaults women. If you try bringing this up to management or HR, they will simply dumb it down to a "misunderstanding" I could never respect nor work for an employer who cares more for saving face than protecting their employees.
