It’s been a positive experience. Lillian the coordinator has been with us every step of the way . When things become a little bit complicated she had a way to make us feel relaxed and she took care of the complications. And Jeff , the consultant, had no drama approach . Overall the move has been quick and smooth. Thank you guys for everything!
We chose Allied Movers based on positive reviews, but our experience was very disappointing. Several large items were damaged, and our bed frame was not assembled correctly leading it to collapse in the middle of the night because screws were not properly secured. Overall, the job felt rushed and careless, and attention to detail was lacking. I would not recommend based on our experience.
I would like to take a moment to recognize Garner Willis at Berger in Tampa, Florida for the outstanding hospitality and professionalism he showed us during our visit. Thank you for allowing us to park overnight for our delivery the following morning—it truly made a long day much easier. If I could give this company zero stars, I would. Absolutely disgusted with their lack of communication and zero care. We have a big move coming up, Florida to Australia and contacted Allied. They said that Jeff Butters would attend my home to take stock of our belongings and give us a quote. Jeff attended our home on a Friday afternoon and spent half an hour walking around and documenting all our contents. Berger Allied moved us from Venice Florida to LI New York on February 3rd. In order for them to accomplish this move, they first took the contents of our home to their Tampa Florida warehouse where it was then off loaded and stored for a few days. It was then loaded onto a tractor trailer and driven to a location about 30 miles from the final destination. They then off loaded it once again and onto a smaller truck for transport to our home.
