I was moving my things from a storage facility in St. Petersburg Florida to the Chicago area. I only received approximately 30% of my things. There was a complete failure by Berger Allied from the salesperson to the moving coordinator to the driver to management. I have communicated with various people in the organization, for nearly a month with no satisfaction. Do not use them!
We had a great experience from start to finish with our long-distance move. The team took great care with our homes and furnishings. They went above and beyond to ensure we were satisfied every step of the way.
As a veteran of 28 years in the moving & storage industry, I had a reasonable level of expectations. What I did not appreciate was that my shipment had to be APU/Rule 19. Aside from that and much longer delivery timeframe, I had a great move. Did incur some damage to 2 antique curio cabinets, 2 glass panels were broken, shattered. The crews however at origin and destination were great My driver Robert had enough labor at destination for the elevators at extra stop storage and main building , a hi-rise.
