Don't waste your time trying to get a compost bin from here. The BCUA program for composting is a great asset to the community, or at least it would be if you could actually purchase a bin from them. It took me 1 week of calling multiple times every day to actually get in touch with Angela, the person in charge of the program. They apparently don't check their voicemails or emails at all. Unfortunately, all of the recycling and paper shredding events sponsored by this county government agency have been suspended during the COVID-19 pandemic, and I do not believe we can bring those recyclables like bulbs, batteries and small appliances to the agency’s headquarters.
