Terrible service. Had a toy for less than 5 minutes and it exploded. I called and asked for a refund but was told “they haven’t had that issue before” and I needed to bring in the mess for an exchange. Don’t waste your time, poor attitudes and poor quality stuff.
I used to be a vendor at all 3 Mercantiles, until January 2026. I went in one day to drop off some things that I had created and was asked by the clerk if I had signed a new contract. I had never received one so I asked about it. They were increasing their percentage that they keep plus charging a fee per month, which is their prerogative. Welcoming & eclectic boutique/ gift shop of local artisans. Fair pricing, nice and helpful service.
I'm generally okay with paying extra for local stuff. However when you post dumpling squishies that retail for $6 and I drive 20 minutes to pick one up and they are $18 just feels like a punch in the gut on me supporting small businesses. They were generic ones and I have huge buyers remorse as the faces are already rubbing off. I love this boutique gift shop! They support local artists like me and many others which in turn helps the local economy and they also have a ton of goodies!!!!
