My mother-in-law has been a resident of Rose Lane memory care for the past 9 months and I cannot say enough wonderful things about the facility and staff. They have treated us like family since our first tour and continue to do so, every time we visit. Family oriented and outstanding place to live for seniors. The staff is first class and provides many services to seniors such as house cleaning, garbage removal, live entertainment of all sorts, many activities are offered on a daily basis of a variety of many things to residents interests! Every time I go to Paragon Village, I am greeted by the nicest staff and I am so pleased with the security protocols they have in place! The facilities are clean, well-managed, and so welcoming. I feel such comfort knowing my family member is there in a place that includes him, respects him, and offers so many wonderful activities, programs and services!
Working with the staff to get my mother set to move in was wonderful. They were always so responsive, helpful, and friendly. Now that mom is a resident in independent living she loves her generously-sized apartment. It is quiet and comfortable, yet close to the action! There are always various activities going on during the day and she enjoys the chances to socialize with her neighbors. The members of the staff know her and all the residents well and it is apparent that they really care.
When tourting they showed us the assistant living side. Which is very nice. However, my mother had to go on the memory care side..let me tell you...It's depressing, they sit around against the walls basically and watch tv while the staff sits on their cell phones, or pass around a drink or snacks every now and again. The walls are institutional gray. No decorations to make you feel homey....The place where they eat is small again, undecorated just horrible.
