HORRIFYING experience working for this company...NEW HIRES: this is absolutely NOT the firm you will gain experience, or get your CPA, or network. Worst place ever.
I will post details later but as a high level overview, we interviewed and selected a CPA, Bill Pilkington, happened to be a partner there. Only that CPA was supposed to have access to our files. Unfortunately, he left the firm after he filed our extension. Bill was good and was planning on using him this year for some of our returns but not all. Bentley & Assoc did not inform us of Bill departure and actually kept this info from us. They gave our files to another CPA of their choosing. My one year experience with this firm ... read more
Terrible Experience. 1. Very unprofessional in their communication - one of the owners is downright rude and condescending. 2. Failure to do the job. They signed an engagement letter to file our taxes and just, never did! We now have over $2,500 in fines we have to pay. 3. They nickel and dime you.
