I'm a bigger human with an oddly proportioned body. I had never felt like a bike I owned fit me until Will built me a bike. I love my Bender bike and plan on keeping it the rest of my life. Not only is it great for bike packing but it also shreds on the trail. Will is great at building bikes that ride well and matching the geometry of the bike to your needs, he also has an incredible eye for design and builds some of the most beautiful bikes around. On top of this Will is just a really great guy!

I can't say enough good things about Bender Bicycle Co. I love mountain biking, but I'm not someone who will research every detail of a custom bike build. I needed a builder I could trust. Will makes the process simple and seamless. Because Will is so committed to things being perfect, it made it easy to trust his recommendations. And, I'm glad I did. I ended up with the bike of my dreams. If you're sitting on the fence, you should pull the trigger. You'll be thrilled!
I am in love. My first steel custom bike. I asked Bender to create a gravel shredding, do it all bike and I am convinced he has created the perfect bike. From the custom, fit and choosing geometry, to final paint, Bender is extremely easy to work with. During the first frame iteration, my frame made too sharp of a turn to allow my brake line curve around the bottom bracket spindle. As a result - Bender made an entirely new frame. After putting my deposit down on my new mtb frame will emailed me within the hour to start the process. We talked about what my goal was with the frame. He was extremely helpful, and professional and kept me updated along the was. My frame came out perfect and can’t wait to finish building it. If you’re looking for a hand built steel frame I wouldn’t hesitate pulling the trigger on a bender!
