We found out a few weeks ago that Belvedere never filed my husband's taxes both federal and state in 2020 by MD sending a letter about putting a lien on our house. Belvedere has not emailed my husband back and now there are thousands in fees we have to pay. At the time, we were not married so I wouldn't have noticed since our taxes were clearly separate.
If you want to pay thousands of dollars in late fees and penalties Belvedere Tax Group is the place for you. Jason was a CLOSE family friend for over 25 years and handled me like we’re strangers. He prepared but never submitted three years of my taxes to the IRS and State. When confronted he told me to submit them myself so he wasn’t liable. If I could leave zero stars I would. We could have given our taxes to our 3 year old and have had a better experience. Jason (the owner) and his team did not file our taxes on time NOR file for an extension despite us submitting our tax information in January 2023 with the deadline in April 2023. I lost my tax professional and family friend 3 years ago due to COVID, and prior to his mitigation, I was audited early into my career. As such, it was important to me to find someone whom (like my previous tax professional) was HONEST and possessed the financial prowess to aid in my continued financial development.
