I have been wearing Beltone hearing aids for many years and just purchased my third set. I tried some cheap over-the-counter ones and all they did was raise the volume. I still could not understand people when they spoke. For my first two Beltone pairs, I could only afford the most basic. Will Never use Beltone or Bob Singleton again. Long story short, Bob told my mother her best option to improve her hearing was to have ear surgery. My mother is 95 years old, uses a walker which we had with us in his office, weighs 103 pounds and is all bent over with Neuropathy. This suggestion was absurd.... Never gonna happen at the age of 95! We talked about getting a new hearing aide like the one she had....
