I took my mom to Beltone in Pearl City as she seemed like she couldn't hear me at times. They did a free but thorough hearing test and found she couldn't hear high tones. They were able to provide her with a hearing aid adjusted just for those lack of high tones. It's great because you can barely see it and it's rechargeable so you don't need to change out the battery!
