We began receiving quotes for our move in November, with the actual move taking place in January. Because of the long planning window, we did change our minds on a few items, which understandably required updates to the estimate. However, the charges later presented exceeded what had previously been communicated and reflected services that were already itemized in earlier estimates, with their costs clearly shown. I chose Beltmann Moving and Storage based on their high Google reviews, but our experience was nowhere close to 5-star service. From the start, the crew’s attitude was terrible. They were unhelpful, slow, and acted like they didn’t want to be there. One of the guys was also very rude to my mother, which was completely unacceptable. What really shocked me is that my wife and I ended up doing a large part of the move ourselves—including helping load the truck—and then we still had to unload everything off the truck.
