I called to check on my mother seven times and was hung up on every call. I still don't know what room she's in nor her condition. This was always a great place, but I'm getting skeptical.
My stay at Belpre Landing was beneficial for my needs and therapy got me back to my prior level for discharge to home alone. I enjoyed the facility and the food was good!
I am being discharged from Belpre Landing today. Have been here over 3 weeks and have had excellent care from the CNA’s, OT and PT therapists. Big Shout out to Sierra, Hannah, Nicole and Mary in the No 1 hall, and to the therapists Michael, Jessica, Cindy and Lynette. They were all friendly and extremely helpful. Beautiful place . Lousy staff. Could care less about residence. My loved one was reported as "wandering" when he was there recovering from a broken hip and femur. Completely immobile! Pain meds were spaced out by 2 hours more despite paperwork still saying he was receiving them as normal. Personally witnessed him pressing the nurse call button twice n being ignored for over half an hour. No one even checked on him! What if he had been choking?!?
