My husband and I had a very meaningful request to get our pregnancy photos done on the Brooklyn Bridge (where my husband proposed). We live in Georgia and would be traveling during one of the coldest weekends that New York had seen in awhile. I found Abigail on Groupon just browsing and was soooooo glad I did! Abigail Montes and I met many years ago thorough a mutual friend who assured me that she was a great photographer. I was not yet 30 and wanted to celebrate myself with a photo shoot in Brooklyn. She meet me in DUMBO and almost immediately I was comfortable with her. She has a warm smile and personality to boot. Beloved Photos is amazing. Abigail made me, the person who hates taking pictures and have too much attention, feel at ease and comfortable with our first phone conversation. My husband and I actually had fun during our shoot! She creatively captured what we wanted - views of the Manhattan skyline and the bridges - in our photos and helped us really connect, helping the pictures look like "us" instead of just any couple that could be in a picture frame stock photo. I will forever be grateful to Abigail for perfectly capturing my son at his 6 months of life. As we are now approaching his first birthday, I am looking back on a fleeting moment in time I have everything from giggles to smiles to pensive looks, not to mention beautiful portraits. Abigail is so good at her job. We had a family photo shoot booked with her and we got some amazing pictures. She is especially good with small children. Our 18 month old loved her and we ended up getting some great shots which we even used in our holiday cards.Her studio is beautiful and it allows for several different settings and varied backdrops. Overall, our experience was extremely fun and memorable. We will be back next year for new pictures:)
