Nick and his team are absolutely great! My wife bought a new Pivot SLAM from this shop and we could not be happier. After she demoed the bike, we placed an order for a 2026 model. When Nick realized that Pivot had a delay in shipping, he got her a superior built version of the bike she wanted with upgraded components... for no extra cost! Wow! You don't often run into companies/people that are this customer focused. Nick, his team, and Belmont Bikes and simply fantastic! I strongly recommend Belmont Bikes!
Recently discovered they were open in a new location and had bad experiences with the next closest shop. With a 100 mile ride in days something suddenly was wrong with the drive train. They were able to look at it right away and found that the crankset was loose. Tightened it up and change the break pads for me to have a smooth Wine Country Century! They are now just across the border in San Mateo in Laurelwood plaza near UPS.
I've been going to Belmont Bikes ever since I started mountain biking in Belmont 6 years ago. As a kid who rides hard sometimes but stupidly most of the time, they've been an incredible resource––kind, knowledgable, and helpful. The staff are also stoked on riding themselves, so it's just fun to stop by and I always leave with a smile.
BelMont Bikes has become our go-to bike shop, and honestly, every visit feels like more than just a repair stop. Nick, Day, and Nathan are like the Three Musketeers of bike mechanics — knowledgeable, welcoming, and always ready to help.
