IZaphara! The first time I saw her dance at Lebanon restaurant, she brought tears to my eyes. I had never seen anything so BEAUTIFUL the music, atmosphere, her veils and SWORD. I still feel the same way. My love for her has always remained. Many of those things are gone now. She still remains strong. It's amazing to hear she is still dancing. I will have to find out where and catch up to her. It's been 40yrs. IU Zaphara! You are amazing.
Zaphara has been teaching belly dance classes in the Seattle area for over 30 years. She is one of the cornerstones of the Seattle belly dance scene, and puts on awesome belly dance performances and shows at a variety of venues in the Seattle area. A must-see when you're in Seattle.
