Bellingham PUD will literally steal from you. I've been continually charged for services not provided (e.g. stormwater collection that doesn't exist). Waste and water fees when the meter reads 0 (vacant homes). They shut off the water to one property prior to the notice date and then charged a $50 re-connect fee. So obsurd! I'm sure this is happening to so many people! However; as a government entity there's nothing you can do, nowhere else to get service from and they stand behind their charges and thievery with a smile. As... read more
I called with a water issue and they sent out a city employee within an hour to get things fixed. I greatly appreciate it. It's nice to see our tax dollars put to good use
