The Belle Jar is closing at the end of March and it is going to be such a loss to me and to the town of Clifton. The town needs more retail because people want things to do after they grab a coffee or eat a meal. The Belle Jar always sparked my creativity and it was so affordable! Absolutely gutted :(
Belle Jar Design is such a cute spot to visit in Clifton! It's got multiple levels and a great mix of furniture, decor, handmade items, plants, jewelry, all the things. We've picked up holiday pieces, gifts, and display items and are always eyeing the restored furniture in there. It's also a perfect spot to walk around with visiting family. If you're in the area, come and see this shop!

The woman who make's some of the hand made items in the store is pushy and money grabbing. She asked for cash only and demanded I pay in that form. It was a big turn off and I wouldn't recommend any product that's made by her. Learn how to approach people and understand this is not the way to do business. Small business especially. Unfortunately, I found this person through Belle jar and it reflects on them. I'm all for girl power but you have no finesse.
