Neighborhood is not the greatest, but the staff are caring and the food is acceptable.
My mother went to Bellaken after a hospital stay. She hated it. I looked at the reviews before she went there. They are from family and friends of the owners. The food was disgusting and not edible. There is no air conditioning and only the nurses have fans. Some nurses only speak Chinese. My mother was left on the toilet for several hours in the middle of the night. My aunt was placed here several months ago after having been in the hospital and unable to go back to live indpendently. I've had my share of dealing with nursing homes and skilled nursing facilities the last couple of years and am very impressed with Belleken Garden. Working with the staff has been phenomenal and they attend to her needs and care without neglect or avoidance.
