I lived at Bella Vista for 22 years. It went from a nice senior apartment complex to the biggest dump in New Haven, CT. Let me start off by saying I left there in good standing. I’m not writing this because I was evicted or anything like that. Bella Vista is a roach infested, dirty, horribly managed housing complex. There are 5 buildings. In every building at least 1 elevator is broken. And they stay broken. There is water leaking in the walls of every building. Lots of mold everywhere. I thank everyone on here that wrote a review. I am in Los Angeles and want to go back to New England but the rents are way too high.I saw this place advertised and thought oh wow this would be great! However, I have since read about all the section 8 people moving in that are not seniors, the elevators always being in dis-repair, the electricity going out often, no central air etc….Therefore, thanks to you all I will continue looking because I don’t want to live in the projects……
