I’m extremely disappointed with my experience with Belfort Furniture. When I purchased my furniture, I also purchased the extended warranty because I was clearly told that after 5 years I would receive a store credit for the amount if I didn’t use the warranty. Now that the 5 years have passed, Belfort is refusing to honor what was promised. Worst experience I have ever had buying furniture. Ordered a sectional in Feb 2021 from one of their higher-end brands, and spent 7.5K on a customized sectional. Delivered August 2021 and came defective and the quality was horrible. Cushions were lumpy and uneven and sectional pieces wouldn't fit flush together. Belfort gave me the option of re-ordering the same piece or selecting a new item and only gave me 30 days to do it. Two years ago, we purchased furniture for our “forever home”. We decided to go to Belfort instead of the numerous furniture stores in the area. We were so pleased with our purchases that I even took my mother to Belfort to purchase furniture for her home. We spent approximately $25,000.00 on dining room, master bedroom, office, theater room and outdoor patio furniture and we purchased the extended warranty option. Very disappointing customer service and mediocre communication. From the beginning of our shopping experience, the woman who helped us was knowledgeable and sweet, but communication was not efficient. We had to consistently follow up with her and check in with her on sales, shipment status, etc. The cherry on top was when our couch was delivered. Steer clear from this company. Save your money, time and purchasing power for companies that care about their customers. The management needs to take some classes on how to appropriately speak with customers. Their righteous attitude mixed with condescension leaves much to be desired.
