Don't go! Terrible!! I asked to do a reduced vaccine schedule. I wanted only one shot and specifically NOT Rabies until she was older. Before I even knew what was happening the vet whisks in, nonstop talking, and gives my pup several shots INCLUDING Rabies!!! Then they had the NERVE to schedule an appointment for my pup to be spayed the very next month when I said I wanted to wait till closer to two years old! My pup's only three months old! $178 for a visit where I wanted ONE shot!!! Absolutely no acknowledgement of my disd... read more
Excellent in pet care and professional staff Although a bit on the pricey side, Bees Ferry Veterinary Hospital makes the extra effort to make sure your pet gets the medical care and attention they need. The hours are great and the entire staff is wonderful. PROS: Great pet care, cool waiting area CONS: Expensive
Compassionate, quality care Even though they're not the closest location, nor the least expensive, the care and quality of service is without equal. I appreciate the evening hours, the professional staff, and the entire experience. They also offer alternative health options, and provide/offer treatment in the best interest of the pet. I have used Bees Ferry consistently for my pets' care since they opened in the mid 90s and would recommend them without reservation to provide the best care on the SC coast.
safe, clean place for pets I arranged to leave my poodle with a friend for a week while I left town, but at the last minute she cancelled. Someone recommended Bees Ferry Kennel to me and I am very happy that I used them, even though I was apprehensive about using a kennel at first. The dogs all seemed very happy and well-cared for, and there is a large yard where they can play several times a day. The staff really seems to love animals. Prices were reasonable, and I would definitely use them again if I have to board my dog.
Don't go to Dr. Cone. Dr. Holley Cone is by far, the most unprofessional and condescending veterinarian I have ever been to. Her attitude portrays a person who could care less about the satisfaction or opinion of the paying customer, and even perhaps thinks that they owe her gratitude for her being so darn smart. Don't be duped by her credentials, you will receive far better customer service from any of the other doctors at this facility.
TERRIBLE! My puppy was very sick and I took him to Bees Ferry Vet and spent THOUSANDS of $s there. He always had diarrhea. They kept telling me it was giardia, and putting him on antibiotics. They recommended a food that made him by far the sickest. brought him back with a new stool sample, which was liquid and they told me he didn't have diarrhea! WHAT?!?! You never get the same vet, the place is like a factory. I spent tons of money there, and no one even took the time to learn mine or my dogs name. They also pressured me ... read more
WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!!! Dr. Cone is simply the BEST! When my dog recently had an ailment, Dr. Cone came in to the clinic on her day off to examine him. She's able to diagnose and treat animals using both Western medicine and progressive Traditional Chinese Medicine. My dog has responded amazingly to her treatment! She spent over 30 minutes following up with me on the phone with detailed information and instructions to make sure I understood the regimen. Some people think that Bees Ferry is overpriced. You definitely get what ... read more
