My fiancé and I recently reached out to Beehive Retirement and Assisted Living Community in an emergency situation to find a suitable place for our mom. Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting Michelle and some of the staff while seeing if the Beehive would be a good fit for my dad. We were welcomed with smiles and warmth. Michelle is a kind soul who really made my dad feel welcome and comfortable while understanding the thought of change is terrifying to him. 1. I love all the activities--every day there is exercises. There is a punch card and a drawing for a prize at end of month. Then there is bingo M,W,F and Pokeno on T, Th. Everyday at 2pm there is a variety of things we can do. Also twice a month the bus takes a group to different places. Might be Walmart, a country drive or the casino. 2. I had my wife in a facility in Lacey for a month. When I went there for the tour I thought the place was great, I had a few other places to look at but I thought this place was great. Boy was I wrong, after switching her to numerous rooms they finally just dropped her off at the hospital. Never returning her to their facility, I could go on and on but why waste my time .
