Sales person running register was rude and aggressive towards customers in the store and my family. Yelled at my mother for attempting to try a sample of a dip and stated “This isn’t a free for all.” without my mother knowing she was suppose to have assistance. My mother profusely apologized, while he continued to put her down after she simply did nothing wrong and was unaware of such “rules”. We had stopped by the location in Hill City when they let us know that the Deadwood location had received their inventory for the week and would probably be able to get me what I wanted. The store was so nice and inviting. Every employee that I encountered was kind and knowledgeable. We tried the samples and picked based on those.
Stopped in yesterday for a little shopping and was seriously impressed! The customer service was top-notch—friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. I originally came in thinking it was just a jerky store, but wow, was I wrong! They have a wide variety of snacks, sauces, seasonings, and even fun gift items. It’s the kind of place you could easily spend more time browsing than you planned. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area—you’ll find way more than just jerky here!
This place was awesome. Love that you can sample anything before buying! $12 for a snack pack is pricey if you don't know what you"re getting. I'm ordering for stocking stuffers this year. The smoked jerky's were fantastic!
We spent the week at Deadwood and I have to say MASON you ROCK!!! he knew about ALL of the products and they are ALL so good. Gonna order more thank you
