Try this at Home Depot: I went over to Rockland county, New York, to help an 86 year old lady friend install a new mailbox. It sounds easier than it is, as hers was attached to 2 metal pipes, sitting in between other mailboxes. Rusty bolts and all that. Just getting the ancient one off was a task. i was so tired of wandering around big-box hardware stores where no one has a clue about carpentry or the right tools for the job. The staff here actually know their stuff—whether it’s woodworking, building things, or finding the exact part you need, they always know the best way of getting it done.
