Very rude and condescending on the phone, interupted and did not fully listen before answering. I'd recommend going in person to get better service.

Why does Beaufort county tax owners on appliances who rent out their property? I do not understand this tax! Rental property owners already have to pay an additional 2% so why are they paying the county for appliances that they own? Anyone care to explain this?
I went to get my out of state military vehicle tax exemption and it was very quick. I read the directions on their website and had all the paperwork ready upon arrival. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes and proceeded to the DMV. Very happy with the professionalism and knowledge of the staff there. My vehicle is a newly imported vehicle and hadn’t been registered in the US yet. They knew exactly what to do. Thank you!
