This is now bear bank.
The employees at this branch are very polite, helpful, and good at their job. I've had little trouble with the corporate structure either. Metropolitan was better, but bear state is still not bad ( aside from the advertising they do when you log into your account.
I had been a customer with Metropolitan National Bank (Kimberling City Bank previously) since 1999. I didn't have any negative interactions with the bank until this year. I stopped using my checking account with the bank a year or two ago and left $45 in it. Earlier this year, I got a letter from the bank stating my account had been closed due to a zero balance. Everyone at the bank is very customer oriented. They always address me by name (even in the drive through). They have answered my many questions about online banking, and have spent time with me discussing my options for other services like loans, mobile check processing, and such. A well run bank with great employees!
