Quilt Shop Really nice quilt shop. They have some great fabrics. Every one is friendly and helpful. One time I wanted a pattern that they were out of and they mailed it to me. I like to stop here when ever I visit Minnesota.
Stitch In The Ditch Located in downtown White Bear Lake is housed in an old mercantile storefront with uneven wooden floors filled with character. Finished quilts hang everywhere, some for sale, others as inspiration. A dizzy array of bolts in calico, classic checks, novelty patterns and a nice selection of solids. Kits and classes for a fee, expert advice is free, and the friendly staff loves to talk quilts. So start a nine patch, gather up a stash, or learn how to stitch in the ditch.
