Been with beacon a long time, their staff has always been pleasant. Wish the saving rates were higher, but overall good banking experience.
Moving my money soon. Wouldn’t let me cash our tax return. Because my husband wasn’t there. He works 16 hours a day. It’s not happening. Spoke to me as if I was stupid. Also really high over draft fees. Never used to have that. Went from 2 bucks to 25
This credit Union has archaic technology.. People are okay to deal with, but their online banking regularly changes to a totally different provider. It has limited functionality. They only support certain Android devices. Support for browsers with Android has crippling functionality. I cannot update the address, the account number, or anything else except the nickname for a payee. If I need to, I'm required to use a Windows device. It is like this credit Union is living in the last millennium.
Update. The app has gotten better but still goes down a lot. Checks over 400 bucks take several weeks to go out of my account and when it does it over drafts. Ridiculous.
