The massage experience itself was phenomenal. The scheduling mechanism they use sent us a confirmation but somehow they didn't receive it. So we were told to come back 3 hours later. Which, understandably, isn't totally their fault. The problem was after the service when my boyfriend offered a tip at the end and was scoffed at. He handed the massage therapist a $20 tip after we already paid $180 for the massage. She chuckled at him and demanded $20 tip per person. I paid for my wife to get a massage with hot stones and oil. I went inside to pay in advance of her coming in. After paying the hundred and three dollars for 60 minutes, I elect to leave a tip in advance of $12. After I put tat on the receipt the cashier looks at me and tells me they expect customers to pay a 20% tip. If they felt like that then charge $120 and make the tip optional and customer initiated.
