The ferry is always late, but the staff are always fantastic!
My wife and I had a family emergency that demanded us to make a rush trip to Nanaimo from Kelowna. My wife's Mother had had a Major stroke. We rushed nonstop to the Horseshoe Bay terminal. On route we got told she might not make it till 6pm. We almost made the 4pm sailing but we're informed, not likely to make it. For my wife's sake I went and explained my situation to staff. I was with pet unfortunately the designated pet area is so dirty I had to sit the whole time inside with my pet it was hard to breat
