Someone opened up a fraudulent account in my name when Suntrust merged with BB&T and overdrew the account by $36. After hours burnt on the phone unable to reach a human being I went into the branch and they agreed it's ID Theft and a claim was made. Now a month later nothing has happened and BB&T is sending "my account" to collections and having negative entry on my credit report. Came to notarize documents after making phone calls to be sure that they can do it. When I arrived they refused to notarize these. Documents. It was copies of my driver license. Random reasons as to why they can’t notarize. Sorry guys but you are losing a customer. They are not even sure what they can do and cannot do!!!
