Mislead by the branch & I now have 2 HARD INQUIRYS on the same day 8/4 from BB&T and all I was trying to do is set up a connection from my money marketing account to release funds to my checking account, if needed for extra protection vs my savings account. Called the 800# for support and they had no issue with setting that up for me over the phone however paperwork was submitted for a line of credit within the branch without that being explained to me at all. Horrible Bank! The staff is friendly but totally clueless! I have never in my 47 years of banking come across a bank where they send the keys to the vault home with a part-time employee. I had a vacation planned and planned on leaving AFTER going to the bank to withdrawal money. They told me I had to come back after 12PM because the part-time employee holds the keys to the vault. Not only is my vacation now delayed BUT now I also have to call around to the other BB & T branches to see who can accommodate a withdrawal. BTW...... read more
