We got there at 4:30 to open a new bank account for my son and they didn’t want to do it because they said they close at 5:00, on top of that Adriana said you are probably undocumented illegals with a sarcastic smile on her face in front of everyone just because we are Hispanics which we are not but she assumed it because I said we will use an ITIN number. ***Avoid this bank. Recent behavior from Truist suggests they face solvency issues.*** This review is regarding the unusual and poor behavior of Truist Bank. I recently wrote a check to a multi-year member of Truist Bank for approximately $1200. My check cleared from my bank and was deposited in the Truist bank account. Truist then immediately froze the account due to "suspected fraud". It’s 2022 and banks are still charging a fee to cash a check written from their own bank.
