Recently, I helped a Haitian friend whose English comprehension is not good. There is a fraud issue with her checking account in that a check to Wells Fargo was stolen, but still paid by BBT. After repeated visits to the BBT Bank, multiple phone conversations with the young woman handling the account, and finally a conversation with the bank manager, they gave my friend paperwork to take to Wells Fargo.
