This place is ideal for active seniors and seniors needing to get active. Classes, seminars, and activities galore.
This is a hidden gem for the seniors of Union County. Ceramics, Woodshop, cards, games, exercise, field trips. Mostly free or minimal fee for certain supplies. Friendly people and well kept.
I would agree that this center, previously and currently, offer a multitude of programs. However, several of us decided to leave due to staff's behavior and their political comments. Before the pandemic and over the pandemic as well as after, I and many others, heard both Carol Peake and Mary Blythe Chipman, state very extreme political statements, about hating Democrats, hating The City of Monore, their employer, hating seniors who had different views and even hating City of Monroe staff, who had different views.
