Stay #1: I always stay at Best Western when I am in Courtenay. Their included breakfast is a nice add on and their free coffee in the lobby is nice (their specialty coffee used to be free. It’s only $1 now). Josh checked me in late night and was friendly and accommodating. He even remembered me from my last stay. Would recommend staying here and o heard their pool is almost fixed. Perfect location to access both Courtney and Comox. Service staff were helpful. Breakfast room was a little slow on replenishing supplies but was adequate.
Really well kept hotel, great staff, enjoyable stay
Stayed two nights. The location is convenient, but this property seems to be in difficulty. The fitness centre is dirty and poorly maintained. The breakfast was limited to bad coffee, cold cereal, and cold “hot” food. There’s a lot of empty counter space where other breakfast items used to be svailable. They are the only BW property I know of that charges for lobby coffee Parking is inconvenient. I’m a BW Diamond member, which was not acknowledged when I checked in.
