The administration staff and care coordinator we have worked with at Bayshore last few years have been supremely supportive- collaborative and person centred. We have a main psw from here who is an extremely skilled and experienced care provider. They are a blessing to our family .

Today I was visiting my grandmother while Bayshore was there. I was completely appalled by what I saw. The lady came in and did about 30 minutes worth of housework in the 4 hours she was there. The rest of the time she spent on her phone and doing crosswords from the paper.

Today I was visiting my grandmother while Bayshore was there. I was completely appalled by what I saw. The lady came in and did about 30 minutes worth of housework in the 4 hours she was there. The rest of the time she spent on her phone and doing crosswords from the paper. To me this is senior abuse and borderline theft. My grandmother asked for help for different tasks, and her response was always the same, she wasn’t allowed to do it (either for insurance reasons or whatever other excuse she had).
