Booked a shuttle for my son who was flying into BWI and his flight was delayed. I kept an eye on the timing and figured it was going to be cutting it close, and the next shuttle wasn't going to leave for a couple of hours. I was able to chat with a rep online to explain the situation, and the communication across the board was great. My son DID make it just in time BTW.
Unreliable. Sometimes they stop sometimes they don’t, booking be damned. Best bet would be to call an hour before and let them know you’re going to be there. It’ll give you a better chance at least.
I am sharing this review so future travelers can make informed decisions. I recently used BayRunner Shuttle from BWI to Easton and experienced two serious issues involving communication and passenger safety. First, the pickup process at BWI was unclear. The confirmation did not plainly and directly state “Departure Level, Door 11.” I exited at the first Amtrak stop not realizing the shuttle pickup was at the opposite end of the airport. Res# 201102. Over the years I have had excellent service with Bayrunner including yesterday's (9/25/2024) 2:30 (BWI to Kent Island). However my original 9/11/2024 trip from KI to BWI was the worst trip I have ever taken with Bay Runner. We (~15 people) were jammed in like sardines with little or no AC and a snarly rude driver. Most of your drivers are excellent but this was such a poor experience I almost cancelled my return trip.
