I just moved into an apartment on 1/03/26 and went into the office to have the water put into my name on 1/05/26 to pay the $210.00 deposit and sign all the paperwork and even have a receipt. Today is 1/12/26 and after coming home from work all day and picking my son up I go to cook dinner for my son and so have no water. I call and I am told my apartment was put on a disconnect list. People really hate this utility company, and that says a lot. Just bring it up in casual conversation, and you are bound to get an "ugh, you know what they did, they..." I just think it stands out because you just wouldn't expect people to have a lot of opinion about their utility company, but they sure do. And it stinks.

Only if I gave it a zero did they say I leaked. I was told they installed leak detectors. I received my bill; it was over $190.00. a leak for 3 weeks. They didn't call to inform me. The plumber was out to inspect all my plumbing, but nothing was found, not even a stuck toilet. This was before I knew there was a leak. I have an annual service plan with Peaden. When I got my bill and saw this, they said, "Oh, I'm sorry you leaked." Well, I couldn't even get a call back from a manager. I had to pay the full amount. The strange ... read more

Customer service representative was aggressive, rude and Accusing. The 'make a payment ' site is down for maintenance and I am disabled and make my payment online. So because their website is down for maintenance since I tried to make my payment on 11/ 20/2025 (the due date), I am being charged a late fee. This is ridiculous.
