I bought my home in 2021 and of course the taxes went up over $1000. I called and assessor office & said previous owners were "grandfathered in" thats why my taxes increased. They also said the next year you shouldn't see an increase. My taxes 2024 are now $3300. I don't live in a mansion...this is ridiculous and all my levy is for schools and college.
