We hired Tom as our photographer for our wedding at Hakone Gardens in Saratoga, CA this past April. Tom was so wonderful, detail-oriented, generous, and kind-hearted throughout the entire process. From our first meeting, it was very clear he is well organized and cares deeply about his work. Leading up to the wedding, he was very responsive and didn't make us worried or anxious at all. Heads up! I’m using my husband’s google account 😂. Tom did the photography for our Wedding and he was simply AMAZING! He is such a genuine person, has top notch communication, and has a gifted artistic eye. He really helped make our wedding incredibly special. From running around racing the sun, to jumping in ditches, and pulling over a tractor driver to ask if we can use him as a lift for all those fun spectacular shots 😂. Tom Chen is an awesome photographer!!! My husband an I are extremely pleased with our wedding photos. We received a mix of formal portraits and in action shots. All of the photos were very organic and natural looking. On a more personal note, my husband is very photogenic. I however, make a weird squish face in basically any photo someone tells me to smile for. Tom takes his time with portraiture and I was surprised to see that he was able to capture squish face free shots. Tom is very easy to work with, and very personable.... read more
