Val and his helper did a wonderful job repairing and renewing finish on two treasured pieces. The first was a very old secretary (pre 1890) which had a broken desk pullout and had been poorly repaired previous. Val replaced a piece of wood then made it look like it was original. He also fixed the cracking varnish. The second piece was a beautiful but neglected mid century modern stereo cabinet. Now it has a gorgeous mat finish and the deep water marks are now barely visible.
