Dont judge a book by its cover. The mat might be shabby however I've been a student since I was 7 now 22. The markers have an authentic style of teaching you can't find anywhere else. The students are more like extended family. Furthermore the martial art style that they teach actually works. I've been in several sticky situations and have always managed to get out of those predicaments without hurting anyone else or being hurt myself.
