I worked with Mary Ann for months to draw up a trust (that in truth should have taken far less time). After the trust was finalized, I receive a letter from the County Assessor –she hadn't checked the status of my joint ownership of a property and in filing the trust, broke the joint tenancy on record and therefore the property taxes would be reassessed to current market value instead of the price we paid a decade ago.
