Founded in the fall of 2004 it became a platform for: members/artists to experiment, grow, exhibit and market their work to encourage collaborative curatorial projects to host events of related disciplines: performances, talks, film and music and to build a vital link between the activities at BAU and the community

BAU gallery has featured the creative efforts of so many artists in its monthly shows in Beacon, New York throughout the years. Every second Saturday from 6-8 pm there is a town-wide open studios event and opening for a new exhibition. The gallery has a good mix of paintings, drawings, experimental work and ceramics. There is always something new to see there.
