I bought a new battery in December and it went dead in a month. When connected to the battery charger I have it tells you if the battery is good or bad, and the charger/tender read bad battery. The voltage was just above 6v. When I brought the battery to the store the guy working that evening advised me that the battery had to have 10 volts or hight to swap it out.
